Second Visit to Wymering Manor

Today during our visit we discussed what took place in lasts weeks studio session as I was unfortunately unable to attend; we spoke about the clients and their thoughts, and what work we will be completing over the next week as a group. I am looking forward to collaborating with other students to produce some work together to present to the clients, I am thinking of doing some research on the demographics around the manor and the Cosham area, as well as using Digimaps to look at older, more historical maps to see if anything new appears that we haven't seen yet.

We also spent some time cleaning the manor together and filmed it in multiple time lapse videos;

I enjoyed spending the time cleaning the manor as it made me feel very connected with it and I felt like this was a very personal interaction between myself and the manor. I felt that I understood the manor more deeply as I spent time going over each surface, corner and gap cleaning, it also allowed me to see smaller elements of the manor that I had overlooked before. I also felt that it brought us students closer together as we were all working together to clean a room.
